Governor Nyong'o Chased away from Parliament over the Following Allegations

The Senate house of Parliament on Tuesday, kicked out the Kisumu county governor, Anyang' Nyong'o, from a committee meeting it had held to audit his county expenditure.

The Senate accused the county boss of failing to avail crucial documents set to support expenditure of his county.

According to the Wednesday ''People Daily'' publication, Senators alleged that Nyong'o, who had appeared before the County Public Accounts committee of the Senate, had not responded to audit questions of his unpreparedness to face it.

Due to his unpreparedness, Ochillo Ayacko, the Migori County Senator, told the governor off that they did not have answers to questions raised by the Auditor General, and therefore, they could not proceed to listen to him without necessary accounts documents.

Nyong'o, as established by Ayacko, is a former chair of the above Senate committee and Ayacko therefore faulted him saying he cannot lower the bar he had set during when he was the chair.

Ayacko assured Nyong'o that he would do the right thing and he would be the last person to undermine devolution oversight.
