Ann Kananu To Be Sworn In As Nairobi Governor On Tuesday At KICC.

A Gazette Notice issued by Jairus Musumba, the chairman of the committee on Assumption of Office of the County Governor,showed that Anne Kananu Mwenda is now set to be sworn in as the Governor of Nairobi City County on Tuesday, November 16, at the Kenyatta International Conventional Centre grounds as from 10am.
Kananu's swearing-in comes after the court dismissed an appeal by former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who wanted the Supreme Court to prohibit the swearing-in of Kananu as Nairobi Governor pending hearing and determination of his appeal.
Kananu will now be sworn as the new Nairobi County Governor on Tuesday at KICC.
