Raila’s tour to the mountain has continued to gain momentum with his latest stopover being Kenol where he was received by huge crowds.During a rare show of solidarity , Boda Boda riders were seen escorting his motorcade as he made entry to the region which was a stronghold for Jubilee in 2017.
Raila Odinga is on a mission to capture the region which has continued to draw in an enormous number of followers seeking to be elected as president of Kenya. His visit was hosted by among others Kieni legislator Kanini Kega who is vigorously campaigning for him.
The crowds were excited to witness history within the making since for several years the region has seemed to be hostile to Raila Odinga. However, after his interaction with Uhuru, he seems to be enjoying an honest working relationship and free space to campaign within the region.
