It is evident that Jubilee party is now divided into two; those who are allied to president Uhuru Kenyatta calling themselves 'kieleweke' and those allied to deputy president William Ruto also known as 'Tangatanga'.
The two groups are on record criticising each other in public. Sometimes they take it to their social media pages. The gap keep widening especially during the by elections.
For instance, today, the Bonchari, Urii and Juja by elections was a competition between Uhuru, Ruto and Raila. Ruto's ally and Elgeiyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen therefore took to Twitter to express his views. According to him, by August 2022 they shall have returned the name JUBILEE to its rightful owners in the Insurance Business.
It should be remembered that Murkomen was the Senate Majority Leader before he was kicked out. The same happened to his colleagues who seemed to be on DP Ruto's side.
