The county governor of Kiambu county Hon.James Nyoro today presided over the swearing in ceremony of two new County Executive Committee members for two departments that were vacant.
Eunice Macharia was sworn in as CECM for lands, housing,physical planning, municipal development and urban planning while David Waweru Wamwea will be in charge of trade, tourism, cooperatives and enterprise development.
Speaking at the ceremony,the county governor of Kiambu said that he is hoping that the two will uphold discipline and intergrity in their work and that they will support him in his work of making sure that the issue of corruption is forgotten in Kiambu.
"I ask the incoming CECMs to discharge their duties deligently and work for the good of the people.You should always be of intergrity in your duties so that you can lead the people of Kiambu in a good way and hence the issue of corruption will be forgotten."said Nyoro
Governor Nyoro also stated that his government cannot tolerate any form of corruption and that public resources ought to benefit all the residents of Kiambu as per the Constitution of Kenya.
