The incumbent Cherengany member of Parliament has come out to say that he will not pledge his support yet to any of the presidential aspirants as he will only do that in the event any of them wins the presidential seat.
Speaking to supporters in Chepsiro, Kiptoror area the vocal politician argued that he is now concentrating on his re-election a seat he describes it's more closer to the people amongst the MCA and Gubernatorial posts compared to the presidency which is an added advantage especially if your candidate emerges victorious.
While his declaration was based on him sidelining himself from national politics, on the other hand he assured the local that he has no issue on whom they support for presidency as for him he is still loyal to president Kenyatta until he passes on the mandate to the next president.
Running on a jubilee ticket Kutuny will be facing will the former area MP Wesley Korir (UDA), one time Chief of Staff of the County Government of Trans Nzoia Patrick Simiyu (DAP-K), lawyer Benson Milimo (FORD Kenya), and independent candidates being John Njuguna and Joshua Kipkorir Kosgei.
