Ruto allies who met speaker Justin Muturi have revealed of their plan for CS Matiangi as leaders from Kisii. However they are clear Matiangi wasted that opportunity and instead joined hands with the enemy in Raila Odinga.
According to one of them Joash Maangi and Kemosi, they had decided to back Matiangi for the top seat but he decided to be the Chief campaigner for Raila Odinga. According to them, they are no longer in support of CS Matiangi anymore ahead of the 2022 general election.
Tangatanga allies from Kisii who asked speaker Muturi to join UDA party made it clear they are no longer with Matiangi after he decided to support Raila. The leaders vowed to back DP Ruto to ensue he assumed office come 2022.
The leaders are clear they will back Ruto now that Matiangi has squandered his chance. The leaders are clear they will only associate with Ruto who has proved leadership qualities. The leaders have urged CS Matiangi to continue with Raila but prepare for humiliating defeat come 2022.
