According to Mwalimu Abduba Dida, the former prime minister was never honest and genuine when he entered into handshake with president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018.
He argued that the former premier would have taken with him all Kenyans of goodwill to the government so that they can fix the mess in the country together.
The politician however attacked Raila saying he entered into handshake with his own personal interests and left Kenyans suffering with oppressing government policies.
"Some times I wonder, had Hon Raila been a little honest and genuine, he would have carried his best people to Uhuru. We would have started the processes of restoring this country democratically and economically. But no, he is there for some other business. That's your 'hero'," Mwalimu Abduba tweeted on Thursday.Here are reactions to his remarks;
"Politics is the art of making self interests looks like it's PUBLIC interests!!!"
"He has nowt to offer besides Tibim, Tialala, Tsunami, earthquake, Canaan, landslides, thunder & lightning."
"Very true,he abandoned his course of taking ppl to Canaan,and went to demand for the amending of the Constitution,which had nothing to do with the quest for occupying the hse in the https://t.co/NEZFAjjLkI short, misplaced priorities,and lost the plot."
