Since the inception of the 2010 constitution, devolution has been embraced and really going a long way to improve the general life of Kenyans in as much as service delivery is concerned.
Formulation of the council of governors has been seen to bring all the forty seven county chiefs together in line with the attainment of the government agenda.
Hearty congratulations have gone up for the Nyeri Governor Hon. Mutahi Kahiga for his re election in a powerful position in the Council of Governors.
Kahiga has been re elected as the Chairman of the Education committee in the council. He will continue to serve Kenyans in that capacity even as the country looks forward to more implementation of the competence based curriculum.
The curriculum, which is meant to replace the 8.4.4 system, has been hailed as more pragmatic and likely to develop abilities and talents of a Kenyan child. Other Kenyans have not embraced it saying that it is very expensive to afford.
