The President of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu has sent a message to all who have stood with them during the mourning period. It has been a hard and difficult moment for Tanzania as they mourned the fall of a hero. Their late President John Pombe Maghufuli was a global leader. He has been eulogized by many and will forever be remembered.

Suluhu sent this message on Twitter this morning thanking everybody who played a part in comforting them and praying for and with them. She prayed that the soul of the late Maghufuli may rest in peace.

Her message on Twitter attracted a myriad of reactions from Netizens across the region and the world. Most of those who reacted are her fellow Tanzanians and others from East Africa region. They prayed that may the Almighty God help her continue with the good work left by the late Maghufuli.
