Arap Kirwa Recounts How Ruto Shattered His Dream in August Poll

Kipruto Arap Kirwa is not a new name in Kenya's political landscape, the former United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party vice-chair was among the operatives who concentrated their individual energies prior to August poll to see to it that whoever succeeded Kenyatta II had William Ruto for names.

Speaking moments after ditching Ruto-led UDA leader, Kirwa exuded confidence that Azimio side was bound to win poll and more importantly form the next government in which he anticipated to be part of.

Contrary to his anticipations, Ruto outrun his erstwhile political master and this literally shattered Kirwa's post-poll dreams. In a recent media discourse with K24, the aforenamed regretted leaving UDA side for Azimio saying Raila's poll loss was his lowest moment.

Kirwa further alluded Ruto's win to his abrasiveness, organization and charming alacrity, the very dispositions that lacked in Raila's camp. In recent days, ODM members have been exchanging verbal expletives with one side blaming Jakom's closest confidantes namely Junet Mohammed and Makau Mutua with the other condemning Jubilee Party side.
