Kiminini Member of Parliament Dr Chris Wamalwa has launched short 35 million bursary fund.
Through his official Facebook page Dr Wamalwa said this will help the less fortunate in the society persue their education.
"As the proverbial saying goes "Education is the key to success", Kiminini-NGCDF and it's stakeholders launched the ksh 35million bursary fund in aid of the needy members of our society," he said.
Dr Wamalwa is a staunch supporter of the Ford Kenya party leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
He is also a big supporter of the Building Bridges Initiative which is being propelled by the opposition leader Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta but was recently annulled by thr High Court Judges who termed it as null and void.
He has also declared his interest for the Transzoia gubernatorial seat.
