Dr. David Sankok is a Narok County-based Kenyan politician and opinion leader who has represented people with disabilities (PWDs) in the Kenyan National Assembly.
He previously also served as the chairman of the National Council of People with Disabilities.
Prior to the 2022 general elections, he made an unexpected announcement that he will be retiring from politics “to give other people with disabilities a chance to make a difference in parliament” and to focus on his personal life.
While sharing some light moments with Archbishop Jackson Olesapit,Sankok wrote,Thank you The Right Hon Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit for saving our country in 2017 and 2022 general elections.
After the 2017 general election you pleaded with the government to allow The Right Hon Raila Odinga to be sworn in as the people's President. This eventually led to handshake and our country remained peaceful.
He added,"After the 2022 general election you braved the fracas in Bomas until Chebukati announced the results, you prayed for peace in Bobas and God gave our country peace in such a contested election. Currently I am busy studying international Geo Politics to arm myself for the task ahead.
