Hon. Mugambi Murwithania has broken his silence hours after rumours emerges on social media that a section of Meru member of parliament are preparing to support Raila Odinga's 2022 bid to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Hon. Mugambi Murwithania their support for the second in command of the republic of Kenya William Ruto is unstoppable come 2022.
Here is what Hon. Mugambi Murwithania shared on his official facebook page about Rumours that himself and some members of parliament from Meru County are preparing to support Raila Odinga!
"I have seen and read some comments on FB about Meru MPs preparing to support Raila after UDA supporting MPs from Meru had a meeting. Those are stories from idle minds or someone sent by a devil roaming around.
"Yesterday’s meeting that was attended by 7 MPs including Meru Senator Mithika Linturi with apologies from Hon. Halima was a team of like-minded MPs who always meet and discuss Meru's development and Political concerns every week.
"This was no exceptional meeting. Led by the Chief Hustler Dr. William Samoei Ruto, this is a totally UDA committed team that aims to continue with Hustler Movement in Meru and Kenya at large. We have made our choice and we are strongly advancing in that direction.
"We know it is hurting some quarters but pole that is where we belong. So do not be bothered to the extent of sending fake news. We are actually preparing the way forward for UDA in Meru County. Meru belongs to all of us. Do your part. Leave us alone. We speak for ourselves. Kazi Ni Kazi".
