Homabay Town Member of Parliament Hon Peter George Kaluma, has proposed that Turkana County Governor Hon Josephat Nanok should be arrested and detained in Kamiti Maximum Prison, over integrity issues after failing to help his people to get water and avoid famine which has been always striking the county.
In his latest message on Twitter, Kaluma said that Governor Nanok should be arrested and detained in Kamiti Maximum Prison, after failing to help his people get water and food which are currently affecting his people, despite having received over Sh120 billion since the year 2013 when devolution started being implemented.
"Turkana lacks water and food with Sh120 billion since devolution! Lock Governor Nanok in Kamiti and throw away the keys for failing devolution." He said. Governor Nanok who was elected under the ODM party ticket is among the leaders who have decamped from ODM, to Deputy President Dr William Ruto's political camp UDA and endorsed him for presidency next year.
