The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has urged CS Moses Kuria to concentrate on his job in issues around maize importation in the country. According to Mudavadi, the decision to import maize or not must come from the Ministry of Agriculture and not the Ministry of Trade.

Mudavadi has made it clear that the person who understands the extent of food deficit in the country is CS for Agriculture Mithika Linturi. He is clear that Moses Kuria must remain on his line because he is embarrassing the government with some of his utterances.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary wants the Minister for Trade to concentrate on his job and know what trade means. He is clear that matters Maize importation doesn't revolve around trade rather issues food security in the country and more so the plight of local farmers.
