Leaders are planning on how they will remain vin power. President Uhuru Kenyatta has hard time to convince his people of Central Kenya. Mt Kenya leaders are leaning to the deputy president William Ruto. Uhuru no longer enjoy political support from the said region. According to president Uhuru Kenyatta, leaders and people of Central Kenya should unite in order to remain relevant politically. The main reasons why the president Uhuru Kenyatta is alone in Central Kenya is his plan to work with Honourable Raila Odinga. Uhuru has said no numerous times that he will not support his deputy.
According to the report in the public domain, president Uhuru Kenyatta has been trying to support and market Honourable Raila Odinga in the central region but in vain. We are waiting to see if president Uhuru Kenyatta will succeed in ensuring Honourable Raila Odinga as end to power in 2022. However, some political analysts are saying that Uhuru allies are trying to weak Raila politically on the background.
Jubilee leaders especially those who are allied to president Uhuru Kenyatta have organised for a meeting in Limuru. The main agenda is plan on how to unite Jubilee Party supporters and leaders. It is not known if they will succeed in reviving Jubilee Party and unite it's supporters.
Do you think Uhuru allies will succeed in uniting Jubilee Party supporters this time? However, if president Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto unite, then Jubilee Party will have life. The probability of this happening is minimal. If this happens, then Mt Kenya region will be divided especially between the East and the West. Mt Kenya East will probably remain with president Uhuru Kenyatta and Honourable Raila Odinga while Mt Kenya west will support Honourable Ruto.
