Kimunya said "His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta accompanied by his Deputy President, Dr William Samoei Ruto were in Parliament buildings this afternoon for the Joint Sitting of the Bicameral Parliament where he delivered “The State of the Nation Address” pursuant to Article 132 of the Constitution of Kenya. The SONA was great in content and delivery.I joined Speakers Justine Muturi and Kenneth Lusaka in receiving the two leaders and several other guests."
However, Kenyans reacted to the matter saying the following after his message.
