Martha Karua, Moses Kuria Send Warning to Mt Kenya Leaders Planning To Fold Their Party and Join UDA

Narc Party Leader Martha Karua and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria have sent a warning to those Mt Kemya leaders planning to fold their parties and join United Democratic Alliance Party among those that are popular pushing to win the Presidency issuing fresh details.

According to Martha Karua, she has made it clear that she is not going to fold her party to join another one in championing for her 2022 political course warning other Mt Kenya leaders not to fall into the trap.

Martha Karua has said that Mt Kenya leaders should know that if they will not have their political vehicle, then it will be very hard for them to negotiate for their political interests and hence suffer being sidelined.

“How will we be able to negotiate for the political interests of our people if we dissolve our parties? If you don’t want to suffer, maintain your parties,” Martha Karua has warned.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has also earlier reacted warning the people of the Mt Kenya region that they should be cautious not to fold their parties if they want their presence felt in the next government.

Moses Kuria said that although he will be supporting Deputy President William Ruto as the next President, he will not fold his party Chama Cha Kazi to join UDA making a bold stand that he will champion for the DP's presidency while in his outfit.

"We have done the bigger thing by supporting someone that isn't from our community but when we start planning ourselves and form our party we should not be called tribalists. If things go south, and they often do, what will we tell our people? These days even women who are getting married do not burn the bed they were sleeping on in their parent's house," Kuria said.
