Sources Reveal What Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is Expected to do

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta will today give his address on the ongoing EAC-led Nairobi process on the Inter-Congolese peace process.

A statement by the East African Community noted that the former Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta was expected to make his address at 10am on Wednesday morning.

“Following the arrival of all the participants of the EAC-led Nairobi Process, the Third Inter-Congolese Dialogue, the facilitator will address the plenary at 10 am,” read a statement to newsrooms.

This comes days after he met with his successor His Excellency the Head of State president William Ruto during the top meeting at the Safari Park Hotel along Thika superhighway.

In his address during the high profile event, the Head of State showered praises on Uhuru for his efforts to bring peace to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

“I salute your credentials as you champion peace in our region,” President Ruto said in his message to his predecessor who was also present during the high profile meeting.

Ruto appointed his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta as his peace envoy for the Great Lakes Region and the Horn of Africa, which makes the former president continue chairing regional peace interventions on behalf of the Government of Kenya.
