Speaker of national assembly Justin Muturi has promised to vie for the presidential seat in 2022. The speaker wants to run for the presidential seat using the Democratic Party, DP. The speaker plan to preach for peace in his campaign. Justin stated that every Kenyan has the right to vie for any political seat. In his speech, Muturi was enfranchised on equality and called out all politicians that use the Mado doa narrative to decide Kenya.
After the announcement, people stormed on Twitter with comments like, 'Kenyans do not like this kind of campaign. It sounds boring. They prefer theatrics and high sounding promises.' A follower tweeted. When you hear someone say' I am serious about.' just know they are a big joke. All the best though.' Another Kenya tweeted. Ambition is good, but achievement is a different thing. Be ready for a rough trip.'
We wish him all the best in the general election.
