The lawmaker while being interviewed at the citizen television cited that the government does not have money. A tweet message shared on the Citizen Television Twitter handle elaborates further the senator’s statement. The tweet read, and I quote: “Senator Mithika Linturi: There is no money in Government. Things are bad. I have been an associate of President Kenyatta, Core people in Sagana were paid KS. 5,000 or 10,000 because the government cannot afford. William Ruto does not give money to be supported, people believe in him.” The statement read.
The lawmaker was clear while giving his views about the state of finances for government. The Meru senator defended Deputy President by saying that William Ruto does not use money to marshal political support. The deputy president is loved and believed my many Kenyans unconditionally. Those were his views indeed.
