"If 2 Out of Any 10 Kenyans You Meet Support Raila, Then Raila is the 5th President" Jeremiah Kioni

The campaign season is here with us and politicians have started to employ different strategies to win in the upcoming polls. Alignments, forging of new political parties and coalitions are some of the activities that have dominated the political arena.

Kenyan politics is largely ethnically and regionally based and the question on tyranny of numbers plays a major role in determining who becomes the next president.

Ndaragwa member of parliament, Jeremiah Kioni, has come out to give his predictions on who is likely to become the fifth president of Kenya. Speaking at Kameme TV, Kioni has said that Raila has a higher chance of succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Raila Odinga is not a lightweight politician as some people think. Since 2007, Odinga has been getting over 47% of the total tally exclusive of the Central Kenya vote. Right now if Raila manages to get 20% of the Kikuyu vote, then he will be the fifth president of this country," alluded Kioni.

"In simple terms I mean that if 2 of any 10 Kikuyus you happen to meet support the former prime minister, then the game is over. I am asking our people to be alert so that a majority of them can be part of the next government," added Kioni. (Watch From 17 Min).

Kioni is among the Mt Kenya politicians who have been campaigning for Raila Odinga. He has however stated that he will stay in Jubilee party which is led by president Uhuru Kenyatta.
