The Cabinet secretary in charge of interior coordination Kithure kindiki is today expected to announce a drastic measures that the government is planning to take in curbing the situation that has escalated out of control in the Rift Valley.
Before the announcement of the cabinet secretary held a meeting with stakeholders from the Senate and other institutions brief them on what the government intends to do in bringing normalcy in the volatile areas.
ALSO in attendance was Karen Nyamu who is among the Senate committee responsible for a security and who was in the company of other senators from the Senate.
According to the cabinet secretary the government is keen on ensuring that normalcy Returns into the area warning the organised groups as hard as a government will not relent in its quest to disarm them.
He has reiterated the government's commitment to ensure that every single citizen enjoy the peace and tranquility is that is demanded by the constitution
