"They Chased Dp From Government, Elevating His Juniors Now They Are Calling For This" Kindiki Claims

The Former Speaker of the Senate Professor Kithure Kindiki has taken a swipe to government over the alleged mistreatment of the deputy president William Ruto.

Kindiki was responding to the move by the Church leaders who are seeking for a truce between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto. Kindiki claimed that after the Deputy President William Ruto was humiliated and chased out of government and his juniors being elevated, they are now calling for a truce.

"They chased the DP from Government; elevated and glorified his juniors; replaced competent leadership of both Houses of Parliament with some clueless folks; oversaw theft of public funds including money for alleviation of COVID; escalated Kenya’s Sovereign Debt to alarming heights.." Kindiki claimed.

He went ahead to blame the government over the high level of debts and hard economic times in the country. He said that now the government has so much failure, they don't want to carry the blame alone.

"They killed the economy & hiked the prices of fuel and everything else. Nearly all the development projects initiated in the first term stalled. Now they have called for a truce so that we can all carry the illegitimacy of 5 wasted years.." He added.

This comes after the Deputy President William Ruto said that his doors are very open for a truce between him and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. Ruto said that he is more than ready to reconcile with no conditions.
