As the country heads to the August 2022 general election, many Kenyans are anticipating that the presidential race will be a two horse race only between ODM party leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto because the two leaders have a wide range of following in the country.
Just recently, both Raila and Ruto named their running mates and from that time, they declared that they are going to campaign intensively ahead of the much awaited poll. Raila Odinga's choice Martha Karua started her campaigns Immediately as he was in Kirinyaga today holding rallies, something that amazed Azimio supporters.
That made President Uhuru Kenyatta's supporter known as Wahome Thuku to come out with a big promise that raised eyebrows in the country. Through his official facebook account, Wahome Thuku promised to defect to DP William Ruto's UDA if by any chance Anne Waiguru pulls a large crowd like the one Karua pulled today.
