Mwangaza the current Governor of Meru County might face impeachment after her disagreements emerged with Meru County MCAs. The members of county assembly had raised different concerns against the Governor claiming that she is so arrogant and she only listens to his husband and never pics their calls.
She was almost winning when romours started going round that she might face a fresh impeachment and hence the Governor today during inter-denominational prayers in Embu she asked the president to intervene for peace to prevail.
"The Bible says that blessed are the peace-makers for they shall be called children of God...I pray that the President is inspired by God to broker peace in Meru County," Governor Mwangaza said.
In reply to Mwangaza deputy president Rigathi Gachagua said that the president will call for meeting for all Meru leaders so that they could resolve all the conflicts.
"Meru is a very important county to us and we wouldn't want feuds to stall development. We are glad that leaders in Embu and Tharaka Nithi are working as a team," DP Gachagua stated.
The majority leader in Meru County assembly refused to admit or deny that a fresh impeachment for governor Mwangaza is being organized but the MCAs have vowed not to go for recess until the Governor is impeached.
