Azimio Officials Plan to Stop Kalonzo Musyoka Kicks Off As 2 Powerful Organs Tasked to Deal With him

The Azimio One Kenya Alliance Official has appeared rattled by Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka's move to run for the Presidency despite earlier entering into a pact with the Azimio.

Azimio executive director Raphael Tuju has said that although they do not prevent Kalonzo Musyoka to make his own decision, what they are up to is to ensure that the Azimio agreement is adhered to and that the Wiper party should be prepared to explain to the Registrar of Political Parties Boss on what led to his decision breaking the agreement and deciding to run alone.

Tuju has said that the next step Kalonzo will be taking will be decided by the Registrar of Political Party together with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

“You cannot stop anyone who wants to run as long as you do it within the context of the law. If he can run as Wiper, then it will be the Registrar of Political Parties to decide. If he is to run as an independent, then it is the IEBC to decide," Tuju has said quoted in the Nation.

Speaking to the Nation, Kalonzo has however said that there was no legal agreement that he would be picked as Azimio's running mate explaining that he was only promised through words of mouth
