Deputy President William Ruto, his running mate, Gachagua, among other key Kenya Kwanza Movement leaders after holding a successful engagement meeting with hundreds of leaders, opinion shapers and Nakuru Business community people.
They stormed Nyandarua county for a mega rally at Ol' Kalou. A rally that turned heroic as thousands of residents turned up in large numbers to grace the event.
Via a viral video premired online, thousands of residents are seen changing and shouting DP Ruto's name and UDA party related slogans.
As DP Ruto was making his grand entrance, his motorcade was blocked by huge crowds of his supporters. Who demanded him to address them.
Raising to the occasion, DP Ruto acknowledged their presence by waving at them, as he rallied them to support his quest.
Nyandarua county is perceived to be DP Ruto's turf. Given the massive support, he enjoys from both locals and leaders allied to him. Hence such a warm reception was to be expected.
