Gideon Moi has been dealt a major blow after one of his governors under the KANU outfit was spotted in Kajiado during the UDA meeting that unanimously agreed to endorse Ruto as their preferred candidate. In today’s meeting, Governor John Longyangapuo openly declared his support for the Deputy President.
To emphasize his commitment, he declared that together with Nanok from Turkana, they will conduct vigorous campaigns that will see William Ruto emerge top in the next elections slated for August 2022.
The meeting that saw several leaders present unanimously agreed that UDA is the party that will be used by Ruto to seek for the elective post come 2022. They further revealed that the question of a running mate should be left for the deputy president to determine since he is the person responsible and given the mandate to do so by the party.
