The Orange Democtratic Movement party leader honorable Raila Amolo Odinga today pitched tent in Narok county to drum up support for his Azimio la Umoja movement.While addressing the crowd at Ololulunga,Raila said that if elected as the next president of Kenya on 9th August, he will categorize single mothers in special and needy group and ensure that the government come up with an Empowerment and support programme for them.
The former prime minister said that the number of single mothers in the county are in the rise hence the need for the new government to support them and their children."The number of single mothers is on the right due to divorce,death of husbands and some men fleeing from the responsibility, I will stand with them if we form the next government after August election,"the former prime minister said amid cheers.He also reassured Kenyans of his promise of giving a monthly stipend of Ksh.6000 if he becomes the next president.
