COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has been one of the greatest supporters to Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta. He is one of those that openly accepted the handshake deal which brought together Raila and Uhuru who had been enemies for long. For many days, Atwoli has been the greatest criticizer to DP Ruto.
On Wednesday, Atwoli was in Western Kenya where he campaigned for Raila Odinga. Atwoli was in the company of Ida Odinga and Wycliffe Oparanya among many other Azimio la Umoja members. They met the people of Kakamega in Mulwanda, Khwisero where they had a good interaction with them. When he was addressing the people, Atwoli Said that Raila is the next president of Kenya and his people from Kakamega were going to support him.
"Today with @IdaOdinga, @GovWOparanya and other leaders from the Western region at a well-attended Azimio rally in Mulwanda, Khwisero. It was resolved that Western Kenya will vote for Raila Odinga to a man." He said.
