Former Finance and Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich has suffered a major setback in his corruption case involving Arror and Kimwarer dams project.

According to the latest news reaching our desk, the court of law has failed to stop the petition seeking to stop the prosecution of the former CS in the case where he is accused of corruption scandals involving Ksh63 billion in the construction of the two dams.
The Court has also ruled out that the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) is not malicious in charging Rotich in the Arror and Kimwarer scandal.
The ex treasury CS Henry Rotich together with four other people were charged jointly with a number of offences including conspiracy to defraud, abuse of public office and failure to follow the law while carrying out contracts that require the government of Kenya to pay Ksh63 billion for the construction of the two dams Arror and Kimwarer.
