Details Leak of Uhuru's Grand Meeting in Sagana Next Week Ahead of the 2022 Elections

President Uhuru is racing against time to take hold of his Gema region that is becoming restless ahead of the 2022 general elections.

The residents in the region have been opposing the Building Bridges initiative which is a project believed to benefit the region more than other regions.

For this reason, Uhuru is determined to have the region support the initiative and defeat the false narratives against the BBI that have been peddled by DP Ruto allies.

Details have leaked of Uhuru's grand meeting in Sagana Nakuru county next week that is set to see him take hold of his Gema region ahead of the coming elections.

The main agenda of the meeting according to the Saturday Standard will be to drum up support for the BBI.

Uhuru will be meeting with government officials including governors and Cabinet Secretaries in the region who are allied to him.

A source who spoke to the Saturday Standard revealed that the meeting will not be a one day event and needed prior planing.

The source also revealed that they will gather a new momentum after the meeting that will surprise many.

This comes a few days after Agriculture CS Peter Munya had chaired a meeting at La Mada which was reported to be a strategy on how BBI would pass in the region.
