JUST IN: President Uhuru Orders Cabinet Secretaries to Give Land Owners Title Deeds by July 20th

The issue of land in the country has been a thorn in the flesh of many Kenyans who don't have title deeds and are unsure of what to do in order to get them.

The Jubilee government in 2013 started a program that was meant to clean the Ministry of Lands and issue title deeds to their respective owners within a certain period of time.

This was, however, not actualized and thus, there has been a backlog of these documents at Ardhi House where the Ministry of Lands Offices are located in Nairobi County.

This evening, the President has however issued some good news to land owners as he has ordered his Cabinet Secretaries to issue the title deeds in record time as per reliable reports from the Daily Nation Newspaper.

The National Titling Programme was kicked off by the President on June 22nd this year and has been on the right track to issuing title deeds to those that deserve them.

The President has ordered his Cabinet Secretaries to fast track this program and be done with it by the 20th of July as per a communique that was sent by the Head of Public Service Mr Joseph Kinyua.
