This week has been buzzing full of political activities. Top presidential contenders are seeking every vote possible. Ruto made the latest shocking move which was never expected. He united with Musalia Mudavadi and together they are likely to run. This has not been given a nice reception especially in Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta plans.
It is now clear that Raila will have to fight hard to dismantle Mudavadi's influence in Luhya land. The community comprises around 12 subtribes which are never united politically. This will be a hard battle considering Wetangula is also in Ruto's side.
The numerous campaigns that Ruto has taken to the Coast, Ukambani and Nairobi have shrunk Raila's support base. Uhuru's backyard is still the most unpredictable region. They can decide anything at any moment as their history indicates.
Currently Ruto is leading in all opinion polls conducted in the latest times. Raila trials him by five percent by having 40 percent.
