The Homabay governor's race this year is expected to be close. The main race will be between independent candidate Evans Kidero and Incubent Women's Representative for Homabay County Honorable Gladys Wanga.
According to a survey conducted by Mizani Africa Limited,Hon Gladys Wanga has the highest percentage ranking in the survey with 55.4%.
With a popularity rating of 42.8%, hon Evans Kidero, who is running as an independent after the Orange Democratic Movement Party awarded hon Gladys Wanga the nomination, is in second place.
The survey's results also indicate that 1.2% of participants are still unsure of their preference for the future governor, while 0.6% preferred candidates other than Evans Kidero and Hon Gladys Wanga.
This poll demonstrates that hon Gladys Wanga would have won the most important position if elections were held right now.
