Rarieda Constituency MP Dr Otiende Amollo raised concerns about the decision by the Kenya Kwanza Coalition group to push for the dismissal of four Independent Electoral and Borders Commissioners who disagreed with the outcome results announced by Chebukati in the August presidential election election.
The MP for the Orange Democratic Movement party warned key organizations against the move, saying it was not about the four commissioners but about the independence of the organisations. Lawmaker Rarieda has warned that large organizations that are currently silent will realize this when it is too late.
"Dear MPs, committees, NGOs, diplomats and churches; this is not about #IEBC4; this is the end of independent offices and their constitutional defense. You will all realize that it will be too late; the power of BEFORE Mark my words." MP Otiende Amollo of Rarieda posted on his official social media pages.
