Kanu party boss Gideon Moi has received rather a cold reception online after his Facebook post on whether Kanu had left Azimio la Umoja camp or not.

Through his Facebook post, Gideon Moi clarified that Kanu is still in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance and was not turning back on its support despite being spotted with Kalonzo recently, who had announced that he had cut links with Azimio.

He said that his party was doing everything to ensure everybody is brought on board and to ensure that the coalition's patron Raila Odinga clinches the presidency in August general polls.

"KANU is firmly in Azimio La Umoja One Kenya and there's no turning back. However, we are determined to bring everybody on board to ensure a resounding victory for the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga because we believe in inclusivity, individual liberty and national unity" read part of Gideon Moi's post

Gideon was speaking when addressing KANU Campaign Coordination Committee in Nairobi on Thursday morning.

However, his post seemed to have elicited sharp reactions from netizens who came out to lash at Gideon Moi. Many lashed out at Gideon, claiming he is a confused leader who does not have a firm stand and follows the political wind.

Others, however, applauded his move to remain in Azimio. Here are some of the reactions;
