Deputy President William Ruto during his tour in Kakamega county
As the campaigns for Kabuchai intensifies, Party leaders, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), and Gideon Moi (Kanu) have thrown their full weight in ensuring the Ford Kenya candidate wins the seat on a by-election slated on March 4th.
On Tuesday 16th the four campaigned for Joseph Majimbo who will battle it out with other contenders including UDA's Evans Kaikai.
During the charm offensive, Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala when rallying the voters to vote for the Ford Kenya candidate warned the electorates not to vote for Deputy President William Ruto's UDA party candidate.
"There's is a doctor called the 'wheelbarrow doctor, we opened for him to come here and lied to us that he is a doctor. He has come into our home and tricked us that he is treating our women, and told us Luhya men to stand outside the house while he is treating our women in Kabuchai.
When we look through the window we can see him touching the head, the chest, stomach and now heading down there...if William Ruto wins Kabuchai by-election it's like allowing that doctor do that" said Malala
