Deputy President William Ruto while in his campaign trail in the Western parts of Bungoma received a major boost as various politicians promised to support him come August 2022 polls.
While addressing the crowd as he introduced the new members, DP Ruto gave the microphone to COTU's secretary general second wife Rosalinda Simiyu to address the chanting crowd.
COTU boss Francis Atwoli and DP Ruto have never seen eye to eye for years and wasted no time and took a swipe at Atwoli. Ruto said, "Huyu ni bibi ya ule jamaa wa nyororo" a lifestyle he is known of wearing expensive taste jewelry and neck pieces.
Rosalinda said that she was the wife to Atwoli and indeed revealed that she will be supporting deputy president's presidential bid to succeed the current sitting President. "My name is Rosalinda Simiyu. My husband is known as Francis Atwoli. I am inside the hustler movement," she addressed.
She caught many by surprised as her husband is a staunch supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga. Here is the video; https://youtu.be/hyYKOu0MvMc
