Uhuru Kenyatta has been under a lot of harsh criticism from Kenyans who are blaming him for the current poor economic conditions. Many are making it look like the retired president did not do anything useful during his two terms. The truth however is that Uhuru is not getting enough praise and credit for what he did.It is because of him that we now have the SGR Railway from Nairobi to Mombasa. It has helped ease congestion on the roads linking these two cities and also since it is cheap,Kenyans are now able to travel without strain.Uhuru Kenyatta is also responsible for the Expressway road in Nairobi that has helped reduce traffic jam along Mombasa road. The Expressway road is also paid for and thus helps the country generate income. It is also because of Uhuru that Uhuru Gardens was renovated and is now attracting tourists who are paying and in turn generating national revenue. It also thanks to Uhuru that electricity is now available in almost every home in the country. These are just the few notable examples of things Uhuru Kenyatta did as president. The current poor economic conditions should be blamed more on the effects of the Corona Virus. One day we will all look back at Uhuru's legacy and we will be more appreciative and thankful.
