High Court Makes Finally Decision On Aisha Jumwa's Degree Saga

High Court declines to stop IEBC gazettement of Aisha Jumwa in Kilifi Governor's race over claims she lacked a degree.

There have been Concerns that the Malindi member of parliament Hon. Aisha Jumwa faked her degree certificate, which might stop her from contest for Kilifi gubernatorial seat in the August polls.

According to the report come out from the High Court has declined to stop IEBC gazettement of the Malindi member of parliament ahead of this year's general elections.

One concern Citizen Rajab Menza Shikara and Daniel Chengo Kahindi, had earlier filed a petition seeking to bar her from vying for the top seat.

Rajab Menza Shikara and Daniel Chengo Kahindi, had earlier claimed that the papers tabled in the High court, showed that the Malindi member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa, completed her basic education in 1991 at Takaungu Primary School and then proceeded to Ganze Secondary School where she dropped out in Form 2 due to lack of school fees.
