Earlier in the day, Dp Ruto's running mate and Mathira member of Parliament made what has been deemed as controversial remarks about Safaricom company. Explaining how the bottom-up Economic model, Gachagua said there is no point in having one big company monopolizing the Kenyan market at the expense of other.
He added that, instead of having one big company, the Kenya Kwanza alliance will consider having some companies offering the same services to Kenyans and paying taxes. By so doing, many hustlers will benefit from these companies as opposed to one company.
