JUST IN: Sportpesa CEO Karauri Takes Lead in Kasarani Constituency

The August General Elections were held yesterday across the country where 12 million Kenyans turned up to vote for their various candidates as per the reports that we have with us.

The various constituencies across the country have seen some candidates concede defeat as the winners begin their celebrations as per the reports that we have received.

One of the candidates that has conceded defeat this afternoon is Nixon Korir of Langata Constituency and Busis County Governor Sospeter Ojaamong who was vying for the Teso South seat.

This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have from The Standard Media, The Sportpesa Chief Executive Officer has taken an early lead in Kasarani Constituency.

According to the reliable reports that we have, Ronald Karauri is ahead with 7,884 votes out of the total that has been cast this evening.

The United Democratic Alliance candidate, John Njoroge is number two with 6749 of the total votes that have been tallied this afternoon.

The third candidate in the race as per the reports that we have is that Mercy Gakuya has accumulated a whopping 5554 of the total votes.
