Soy MP Caleb Kositany Sends Strong Message to Uhuru After Seemingly Endorsing Raila's Bid Last Week

Soy MP Caleb Kositany has requested President Uhuru Kenyatta to keep off from politics few months before he exits the stage after completing his two terms in office.

Kositany argues that the president's influence in his succession will not allow Kenyans to make the right decision, thus urging him to play a neutral ground towards all presidential aspirants.

Kositany in a video shared by the Nation on Tuesday was responding towards remarks made by the president Last week in Nauru where he said that the young leaders are moving at a higher speed compared to the older who know that leadership is a marathon and not a sprint, and the latter can overtake the younger after they run out of breathe.

"Uhuru is behaving in an unprecedented manner. I want to ask him and all others who are in their second terms and are going home, although it is you democratic right to participate in a political process, ensure that process do not disharmony and disunity among Kenyans before next year,' posed Kositany.

The former deputy secretary general of the Jubilee party blamed the president for the collapse of the party after he united with Raila in 2018.

He also termed Raila as a government's presidential project.
