In her reaction the deputy president Dr William Samoei Ruto allied politician read mischief saying somebody was being played.
According to Ngirici, it was questionable why would the GEMA elders coronate Muturi as the region's kingpin yet they recently endorsed Raila Odinga as Mt Kenya region's choice come 2022.

Pro-handshake allies led by Anne Waiguru and David Murathe have on their part declared Raila Odinga as their choice come 2022.
