BREAKING: High Court Finally Makes Announcement On Johnson Sakaja's Degree Saga

Nairobi county governor aspirant Johnson Arthur Sakaja has found himself at the middle of a tough political storm in the last couple of weeks after the validity of his academic qualifications was questioned at the independent electoral and boundaries commission disputes tribunal.

Days after the independent electoral and boundaries commission disputes tribunal threw out the case against Sakaja and allowed him to be on the ballot, a petitioner moved to court to block senator Sakaja's name from being included on the ballot by IEBC. The petitioner whom Sakaja has already dismissed as a project argues that Sakaja allegedly lacks a university degree.

And now, the high Court has issued an announcement on Senator Sakaja's case even as it appears that his case lies with the High Court. In the announcement, the court says a decision on the matter will be out on Friday this week (8th July 2022).

"High Court to announce determination of United democratic alliance Nairobi governor candidate Johnson Sakaja's degree validity case on July 8," KTN news journalist Ali Manzu reported.
