Irungu Kang'ata Sends Warning To President Uhuru Regarding His Plans For DP William Ruto

As new information emerge about President Uhuru's plans against Deputy President William Ruto, Mathira Member of Parliament Hon Rigathi Gachagua and his counterpart in the United Democratic Alliance Party Muranga Senator Irungu Kang'ata have issued a warning to him.

After learning that President Uhuru will be visiting Mt Kenya shortly to clear the air on what ended his bromance with DP Ruto, including who will succeed him, DP Ruto's Mt Kenya allies are furious.

Hon Rigathi Gachagua, a Mathira Member of Parliament, has retaliated, saying that the President should not come to his planned Thanksgiving rally and speak ill of any leader who is aligned to his succession, adding that he is free to support his preferred candidate but should stay out of DP Ruto's affairs.

"In the next election, the President has the democratic right to support anybody he wishes. That is not a problem for anyone." Mr. Gachagua stated.

"Let him support whoever he wants and leave the rest of us to support anyone we want." He concluded.

Senator Irungu Kangata of Muranga has also spoken out, stating that President Uhuru should visit the region with his main purpose in mind, rather than coming to speak ill of others.

"It will be futile to criticize the Deputy President since our people have already made up their minds. Before divorcing a spouse, one must provide compelling reasons. After the divorce, the reason and grounds should not be revealed." Senator Irungu Kangata concluded.
