After the grassroot Kuppet Officials elections were conducted in all counties in the beginning of the year, it was time to elect the national Officials to represent the union in national office. It was a good day for the incumbents for they all ten of them retained their seats. This race was made easy when their opponents withdrew from the race.

The election that took place at Moi international sports centre, Kasarani, in Nairobi where they were conducted virtually and presided over by the acting commissioner of labour Hellen Apiyo. She expressed her satisfication because all the legal requirements for the election was met and thanked the national governing council of March 30 and court order for paving way for the election to take place virtually.
Under the Kuppet constitution the virtual methods is not expressly provided but it provided the better option for the election considering the current situation where we are required to avoid gathering due to the covid-19 pandemic.
